Mayflower II


The Foundations of Liberty: Pilgrim Passageway (Boston Area)

This program includes four specific early phases of American history: the Pilgrim Passage (with sites including the Mayflower II and Plymouth Plantation near modern Plymouth, the Pilgrim Hall Museum), the Puritan Experience (with sites in and around Salem) discussing the theological and historical development of the Puritans and getting to know their writings, Founding Fathers (sites at Quincy, Mass at the Adams estate) and finally Revolutionary beginnings (with sites at Lexington and Concord, along with the Freedom trail in Boston).

 

The Great Experiment in Democracy (Washington, D.C. area)

This program includes the major historic monuments of the American capital, with special focus on the "documents of liberty" and their formation. The program will be an excellent introduction to the governing process of the USA.

 


A House Divided: The Civil War Battlefields

This exciting journey includes visits to several of the most important museums and battlefields that will make the period of 1861-65 come alive as never before. Careful examination of the theological explanations of both sides are included!
