Day 1 Paul: A Man Who Shook the World.
AM Lectures:

2) "Paul: Man on a mission" (10:30-12:00).
Field Trip: The Acropolis (1:00-4:00).
Overnight: Athens

Day 2 Defining Paul in His World.
AM Lectures:
1) Anchor Dates for Paul and His world (8:30-10:00).
2) Tracing the steps of Paul" (10:30-12:00). Following a chart on the journeys of Paul, this lecture will set
the stage of our journey and order our steps.
Field Trip: Excavations at the Agora. (1:00-4:00).
PM Session: Basic Greek for Beginners.
Overnight: Athens

Day 3 Paul and His Public Ministry.
AM Lectures:
1) Five Characteristics of the Athenians to whom Paul Preached (8:30-10:00).
2) The Four Seasons of Paul's Writing. (10:30-12:00).
Field Trip: Areopagus, Sites of Athens (1:00-4:00).
Overnight: Athens.

Day 4 Theme: Paul and Corinth- A Titan Clash of Cultures.
AM Lecture:
Imagery and Instruction in the letters to the Corinthians (8:30-10:00)
Field Trip: Corinth and Cenchrae (10:30-4:00).
Overnight: Athens.

Day 5 Theme: Paul and Paganism.
Full Day: Delphi.
Overnight: Delphi.

Day 6 Early Christian History and Orthodox Christianity.
Full Day: Meteora Monasteries.
On site lecture: Greek Church Fathers and Christian Foundations Meteora)
Overnight: Thessaly Region.

Day 7 Paul's Outreach to Macedonia.
Full Day: Dion, Berea, Tombs of Macedonian Kings (On site lecture on Philip II of Macedon and the rise of Alexander the Great), Litochoro, Mt. Olympus walk.
Overnight: Thessaloniki.

Day 8 The Thessalonians.
AM Lectures:
1) Imagery and Instruction from Thessalonica (8:30-10:00).
2) Foundations of Greek Philosophy (10:30-12:00).
Field Trip: Macedonian Archaeological Museum, Agora Excavation, Walking tour of Thessaloniki with local Greek students. Evening at Taverna.
Overnight: Thessaloniki.

Day 9 Paul's Journey to Macedonia.
Full day: Amphipolis, View of Apollonia, Neapolis.
Overnight: Kavalla.

Day 10 Paul and the Philippians.
AM Lecture:
1) Imagery and Instruction from Philippians (8:30-10:00).
2) Foundations of Ancient Theatre (10:30-12:00).
Field Trip: Philippi Excavations,Lydia Springs.
PM Session: Evaluation Session.
Overnight: Kavalla.

Day 11 Departure Day.
Some participants departing for home will fly to Athens, to connect to flight back home. Other participants will depart via motor coach to Istanbul for next module.
Overnight: Istanbul.
